CCleaner කියන්නේ ඉතාමත් ප්‍රසිද්ද PC optimization app එකක් සමහර විට ඔයත් use කරනවා වෙන්න ඇති. ඉතින් මේ app එක Microsoft ලගෙ Windows 10 built-in antivirus software එක වෙන Microsoft Defender එකෙන් ‘potentially unwanted software’ එකක් විදිහට flag වෙලා තියෙනවා.
Potentially unwanted software එකක් එහෙමත් නැත්තන් potentially unwanted app එකක් කියන්නේ malicious element එකක් නැති උනත් unwanted behavior එකක් පෙන්නුම් කරන app එකකටයි.
Bleeping Computer spot කරගෙන තියෙන විදිහට Defender එකෙන් දැන් CCleaner එක potentially unwanted app එකක් විදිහට detect කරගෙන තියෙනවා
“Certain installers for free and 14-day trial versions of CCleaner come with bundled applications, including applications that are not required by CCleaner or produced by the same publisher Piriform. While the bundled applications themselves are legitimate, bundling of software, especially products from other providers, can result in unexpected software activity that can negatively impact user experiences.- Bleeping Computer"
ඉතින් CCleaner ආයතනයෙන් මේ උඩ කියලා තියෙන bundled apps වලට Google Chrome browser, Google Toolbar, සහ Avast Free Antivirus එක්කම AVG Antivirus Free කියන apps අයිති වෙනවා. (AVG සහ Piriform කියන දෙකේ ම හිමිකාරිත්වය දරන්නේ Avast ලා)
Microsoft ලා තවදුරටත් සඳහන් කරන්නේ මේ bundled apps වල කිසිම අවුලක් නෑ කියලයි. ඒත් ඒ එක්කම Microsoft ලා කියන්නේ මේ apps installation එකට offer කරන විදිහ ප්රශ්නසහගතයි කියලයි.
කෙසේ වෙතත් CCleaner ආයතනයෙන් මේ ගැන statement එකක් නිකුත් කරමින් මේ issueඑක resolve කරා කියලා ප්රකාශ කරලා තියෙනවා. ඒ වගේම ඔවුන් තව දුරටත් ප්රකාශ කලේ Microsoft සමාගම එක්ක මේ ප්‍රශ්නය සම්බන්ධයෙන් කටයුතු කරන බවයි.
